Layout Review & Requirements Gathering
I start by receiving your finalized design layout (Figma, Sketch, PSD, etc.). I thoroughly review all pages, element states, responsive versions, and technical specifications. I'll ask clarifying questions to ensure a complete understanding of the project goals and to anticipate any challenges before development begins.
Responsive Frontend Development
This is where the design comes to life. I write clean, semantic HTML and meticulously craft styles (SCSS/Tailwind) to precisely match the approved layout across all devices. Necessary interactivity and animations are implemented using modern JavaScript (ES6+).
CMS Integration (WordPress, etc.)
If your project needs a Content Management System (primarily WordPress), I seamlessly integrate the frontend code into a custom theme. I configure necessary post types, custom fields (using ACF), and page templates to ensure managing your content is straightforward and efficient.
Quality Assurance & Optimization
Rigorous testing is crucial. I conduct thorough checks across various devices and browsers to ensure full functionality. This includes testing forms, interactive elements, optimizing load speed (Core Web Vitals), and resolving any identified bugs.
Site Deployment & Client Handover
The final step involves deploying the completed website to your hosting environment. This includes configuring the domain and installing the SSL certificate. I provide all necessary access credentials and clear instructions for site management, especially if a CMS is involved.
